My name is Suzette Urs. I am the sole proprietor
of Urs Art Studio Gallery, located at 802 N.
Federal HWY, in Boynton Beach, Florida. When
visiting this gallery, one will find more than 100
pieces of art, ranging from original paintings to
pastels, to sculpture and folding screens by local
Palm Beach artists.
My education includes graduation with top honors
with degrees in speech communication,
psychology, print, fine arts and commercial arts.
While I enjoyed the studies in the print
department, I was pretty empty handed after
graduation. Without all the necessary tools, stones
and presses, all I had was a degree. :) I began my
new image and techniques search and I fumbled
onto some good ideas, but nothing shouted for my
attention until I got this idea in my head that I
wanted my images to stand lone in mid air. No
white paper or canvas for the base, just clear
beautiful color and image.
That was the 1983 beginning of this uniques,
versatile process that I call ACRYLURS.
